Sunflower Birdhouse

This red dyed gourd has outlines burned to form the flower and tiny dots of paint to brighten it up.  This unique gourd won Second Prize at the Kentucky State Fair. Although it does have a hole for birds, this is a decorative piece and not intended to be used outdoors.
